It has been a long standing dream to style a fashion editorial in the alien landscape of a desert. This particular area is known for the exotic, spiky "Joshua Tree" in addition to some fascinating geological formations such as the "Hemingway Buttress", where I shot with the fabulous Roberutsu . These formation partially owe their shape to ground water, filtered through the rectangular-esque joints of the monzonite and eroded corners and edges and flash floods which wash away covering grounds to reveal rounded boulders.
Joshua Tree also gave me the intense focus to test drive just how many ways can one style a scarf?
